Royal Ballet Nutcracker Matinee and Evening Performances
The Nutcracker on Saturday 2 January 2027 is the first day of performances in the New Year, with a matinee and an evening while the festive lights are still up in Covent Garden. The Royal Ballet dances Peter Wright’s production to Tchaikovsky’s score, with Julia Trevelyan Oman’s period designs, in the season that marks Peter Wright’s centenary. This date has two performances, a matinee at 1.30pm and evening at 7pm. A weekend date suits families travelling in for the day.
