Landmarks: Unmissable Ashton Tickets – The Royal Ballet, Royal Opera House
Landmarks: Unmissable Ashton tickets are for The Royal Ballet’s celebration of its founding choreographer, Frederick Ashton, at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. The programme pairs the youthful charm of Les Rendezvous with the pure classicism of Symphonic Variations and the sunlit romance of Daphnis and Chloë, to Ravel’s glorious score.
Ashton programmes are a favourite with The Royal Ballet’s most loyal audience, and Saturday dates go first. TicketsToSee sources seats in the Orchestra Stalls, Stalls Circle and Donald Gordon Grand Tier, confirms your seat area in writing and sends secure e-tickets before the performance. Call our Private Client Team on +44 (0)203 070 3997.

Landmarks: Unmissable Ashton, the Programme
Les Rendezvous
Ashton’s 1933 ballet to music by Auber, arranged by Lambert, is a light-hearted sequence of meetings and partings in a park, and one of his earliest successes for the company that became The Royal Ballet.
Symphonic Variations
Created in 1946 to César Franck’s score for piano and orchestra, Symphonic Variations has six dancers on stage throughout and is often called Ashton’s masterpiece of pure dance.
Daphnis and Chloë
Ashton’s 1951 ballet sets Ravel’s complete score, with its famous sunrise, to the story of two young lovers on a Greek island, separated by pirates and reunited by the god Pan.
