Heritage Classics Tickets – The Royal Ballet, Royal Opera House

Heritage Classics tickets are for The Royal Ballet’s summer programme of three signature works at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden: Kenneth MacMillan’s Concerto, Frederick Ashton’s A Month in the Country and Rudolf Nureyev’s Raymonda Act III.

A classic triple bill at the end of the season is a favourite with regular ballet-goers. Booking for this production has not yet opened to the general public, so TicketsToSee quotes for top-category seats in the Orchestra Stalls, Stalls Circle and Donald Gordon Grand Tier on request, date by date. Call our Private Client Team on +44 (0)203 070 3997.

Heritage Classics, the Programme

Concerto

MacMillan’s plotless 1966 ballet to Shostakovich’s Second Piano Concerto, with its luminous slow movement pas de deux.

A Month in the Country

Ashton’s 1976 distillation of Turgenev’s play, set to Chopin, about a bored wife whose household is upended by the arrival of a young tutor.

Raymonda Act III

Nureyev’s staging of the grand wedding act of Petipa’s ballet to Glazunov’s score, a showcase of classical virtuosity.
