England Cricket Tickets for Every Home International

England cricket tickets are among the hardest cricket tickets in the UK to find. A home summer brings Test matches at the great grounds of England, from Lord’s to The Oval, alongside one-day and T20 internationals, and when Australia arrive for the Ashes, demand runs far beyond the seats available.

Every Ashes Test day sells out on general sale, and the best seats at Lord’s, Edgbaston and Trent Bridge are held back for members and ballots. Guests come to us for a first Test match, a milestone birthday, a family day at the cricket or a client day with hospitality. TicketsToSee has sourced tickets for sold-out events for over 20 years, and your seating area and price are confirmed before you book.

England Cricket Tickets Prices

Test Match Tickets and Cricket Ticket Prices

Most England cricket tickets are priced on request, because availability and price differ by match, day and seating area. We quote per person in pounds sterling, excluding VAT, and VAT and delivery are shown before you pay. Ashes days at Lord’s and the first three days of any Ashes Test command the highest prices; Day 4 and white-ball matches are usually easier to secure.

Cricket Ticket Booking Made Simple

Cricket match tickets are booked in a few steps. You tell us the match, day, number of guests and preferred seating area. Request England Cricket Tickets

Send us the match and day you want, the number of guests and any seating or hospitality preference, and our Private Client Team will reply with availability and a price.

England Cricket Hospitality

Cricket Hospitality Tickets

Hospitality packages at Test grounds add a reserved seat, a private base for the day and dining, from boxes overlooking the square to restaurant packages in the pavilion areas. They are the usual choice for client entertaining and for groups who want the day planned for them. We quote hospitality on request.

Group and Corporate Bookings

For five or more guests, tell us the size of your group and the day you want, and we will look for seats together. Early requests give the best chance of keeping a group in one block.

England Test Match Tickets: What to Expect

Test Match Day Timings

Play in a home Test is scheduled to start at 11:00, with gates opening earlier in the morning. A full day has three sessions with lunch and tea intervals, and play can run into the early evening. Day 5 is played only if the match is still in progress.

ODI Cricket Tickets, T20 Tickets and Test Match Formats

A Test match is played over up to five days, with each side batting twice. A one-day international gives a result in a single day, with up to 50 overs a side, and a T20 international lasts around three and a half hours, usually in the evening.

Weather and Rain Delays

English summers bring the occasional shower, and play stops when the umpires judge conditions unsafe. Covers come on quickly, and lost time is often made up later in the day. Rain terms are set by each ground and confirmed with your booking.

What to Bring

Grounds allow small bags, and most permit a limited amount of food and drink, with rules set by each venue. Sun cream, a hat and a waterproof layer are essential for a full day outdoors.

England Cricket Grounds

Lord’s Cricket Tickets

Lord’s in St John’s Wood is the Home of Cricket, with the Pavilion, the Long Room and the Media Centre. Lord’s cricket tickets are the most requested of any English summer, and in 2027 the ground hosts the England v Bangladesh Test, the second Ashes Test and an ODI against New Zealand.

Trent Bridge, Edgbaston and Southampton

Trent Bridge in Nottingham has staged Tests since 1899. Edgbaston in Birmingham is famous for the noise of the Hollies Stand, and the Utilita Bowl near Southampton is Hampshire’s modern home.

Headingley, Old Trafford and the White-Ball Grounds

The one-day and T20 series take England to Headingley in Leeds, Old Trafford in Manchester, the Riverside Ground at Chester-le-Street, Sophia Gardens in Cardiff and the County Ground in Bristol. These grounds bring big, noisy crowds to white-ball cricket, and evening matches under the lights have a festival atmosphere.

The Oval

The Kia Oval in Kennington hosted the first Test match in England and traditionally stages the final Test of the summer.

England’s 2027 home summer runs from 15 May to 25 September 2027, with the Ashes Tests against Australia from 18 June to 2 August.

Where are the Ashes Tests being played?

The five Tests are at Trent Bridge, Lord’s, Edgbaston, the Utilita Bowl in Southampton and The Oval, in that order.

How much are England cricket tickets?

Best seats for the Lord’s Ashes Test range from £925 on Day 5 to £1,745 on Days 1 and 2, per person excluding VAT. Other matches depend on the day and seating area, so we quote on request, confirmed before you commit.

How do I get England cricket tickets for a sold-out match?

Send us the match, day and number of guests using the form on this page, or call our Private Client Team on +44 (0)203 070 3997. We confirm availability, your seating area and a price before you book.

Yes. Tell us the match, the day and the number of guests, and we will quote hospitality options for you.

Where can I buy cricket tickets in the UK?

For cricket tickets UK-wide, TicketsToSee sells England cricket tickets for every home international, from Test matches at Lord’s and The Oval to one-day and T20 internationals at grounds across England and Wales. Choose your match on this page or call +44 (0)203 070 3997.

Can I buy international cricket tickets for a single day of a Test?

Yes. Every day of every Test has its own page, so you can buy cricket match tickets for the day you want rather than the whole match.

How will I receive my tickets?

Tickets are issued before the match, and your booking email confirms the match, your seating area and the total paid. Our London team stays in contact until you have them.

The History of England Cricket

England played the first Test match against Australia in Melbourne in March 1877, and the first Test in England was staged at The Oval in 1880. For more than a century and a half, England’s home Test summers have been the centrepiece of the English sporting calendar.

The Story of the Ashes

The Ashes began in 1882, when an English newspaper printed a mock obituary for English cricket after defeat by Australia at The Oval, declaring that the body would be cremated and the ashes taken to Australia. The small urn at the centre of the legend is kept in the museum at Lord’s, and the series remains the most prized contest in the game.

England at Lord’s

Lord’s has stood on its St John’s Wood site since 1814 and is owned by the Marylebone Cricket Club. Its honours boards, the Long Room and the famous slope across the ground make a Lord’s Test unlike any other day at the cricket.

Why Ashes Tickets Are So Hard to Find

Home Test grounds hold far fewer spectators than football stadiums, and members, county supporters and ballot entrants take a large share of each allocation. For an Ashes summer, public demand outstrips supply many times over, which is why seats for the best days are gone within hours of going on sale.

Booking England Cricket Tickets for a Group

For a club outing, a family celebration or a client day, tell us the size of your group and the match you want. For five or more guests we recommend calling before you book so we can keep your party together.
