Gala Preview 2027: Which Evening Format Suits Your Party?

Six formats are available on Gala evening. Two are booked per person: the Gala Preview itself and the Gala Preview with Dinner. Four are designed for groups and quoted individually: the Gala Meeting Point, the Rock Bank Meeting Point, the Spring Garden Gala Chalet and the private suites. The initial Gala application window has closed, so every enquiry is for allocation or returned availability.

Gala Preview — guide price £900 per person. Exclusive access to the gardens and floral exhibits before the main show opens, with Champagne, canapés, live music and opportunities to meet horticultural experts. Admission 7pm to 9pm. An adults-only evening supporting the RHS charity.

Gala Preview with Dinner — guide price £1,280 per person. The Gala Preview from 7pm to 9pm, followed by a seasonal three-course dinner with wine and live music in the Ranelagh Restaurant from 9pm to 11pm. Bookings of eight or fewer guests share a table.

Gala Meeting Point — guide price on enquiry. For 20 to 130 guests: a branded meeting point in the Great Pavilion with dedicated waiting staff from 7pm to 9pm, souvenir brochure advertising and complimentary Battersea Park parking. Dinner, souvenir bags and host access can be added to the quotation.

Rock Bank Meeting Point — guide price on enquiry. For 20 to 80 guests: a branded meeting point at the start of Main Avenue, dedicated waiting staff from 7pm to 9pm, brochure advertising and complimentary Battersea Park parking. Optional dinner and hosting additions available.

Spring Garden Gala Chalet — guide price on enquiry. For 60 or 120 guests, with chalet hospitality from 6.30pm to 11pm and wider showground access from 7pm to 9pm. Includes Champagne, canapés, dedicated staff, company branding, brochure advertising, Gala map recognition and one souvenir bag per two tickets. Additional dining and bespoke floral arrangements can be quoted separately.

Private Suites — guide price on enquiry. The Promenade, Thames View, QEII and Soane Terrace, with packages starting from 100 Gala tickets. A Champagne and canapé reception at a designated meeting point precedes private suite access from 8.45pm to 11pm. Dining, entertainment and event styling are arranged by quotation.

Guide prices are per person, include VAT where applicable and are subject to availability and final quotation.

What Gala Evening 2027 Gives Your Guests

The Gala is the only time the 2027 gardens are seen before the RHS membership arrives the next morning. Designers and exhibitors are on hand and at their most available, the planting is untouched, and the evening light across the Royal Hospital Chelsea grounds gives the show gardens a character visitors on later days never see. Two hours in the gardens is enough to walk the main avenue and the Great Pavilion at a measured pace.

The dinner format turns that into a full evening: the gardens first, then a seated dinner in the Ranelagh Restaurant until 11pm. The group formats add a base your guests can return to, a host’s presence through branding and brochure advertising, and parking that removes the hardest part of a Chelsea evening.

Who Books Gala Preview 2027 Hospitality?

The Gala suits hosts for whom the occasion itself carries the message: a chairman entertaining the firm’s most important clients, a partnership thanking those it works with, a private client marking a landmark birthday among friends. Because admission is controlled through the RHS process, a Gala place reads as an invitation rather than a purchase, which is precisely why it is chosen for the guests who matter most.

How Your Gala Preview Booking Is Confirmed

Tell the Private Client Team your preferred format and the number of guests. The team checks allocation and returned availability for Gala evening, sets out inclusions and timings, and prepares a quotation. Once accepted, your booking is confirmed in writing, and TicketsToSee will notify you how your Gala passes will be delivered. For group formats, allow time for branding and brochure deadlines; the team will advise on these when quoting.

Monday 17 May 2027: The Gala Evening Itself

Gala evening is the first of six days at the 2027 show. Chalet hospitality opens at 6.30pm, the showground opens to Gala guests at 7pm and closes at 9pm, dinner in the Ranelagh Restaurant runs from 9pm to 11pm, and private suites are open from 8.45pm to 11pm. The evening is adults-only. Royal attendance at the evening Gala cannot be confirmed in advance. For the full week’s packages, see Chelsea Flower Show Hospitality.

Notice to Buyers

Tickets To See supplies tickets through the secondary market when primary sellers cannot meet your availability, seating or timing requirements. These terms are mandatory and no exceptions are made.

Check the official box office first. Try the official box office, the primary ticket agent, before ordering with us. Where tickets are unavailable, off-sale, hard to acquire, or the box office cannot offer your preferred category, our team is well prepared to assist.

Pricing above face value. Prices are in pounds sterling, exclusive of tax, market-based, and most sit above the original face value. Pricing reflects face value, scarcity, premium seating, availability once public sale has closed, and our VIP concierge service. Prices are set by promoters and resellers, change without notice, and are final only once payment is accepted. VAT and delivery are shown in full at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, quotes are per person and assume purchase in pairs; odd numbers and larger groups may be priced differently. Face value for this event is £ To be advised.

How your contract is formed. A contract is formed when you confirm requirements by telephone, secure online order, email or order form and we accept, subject to availability. The sales invoice or email order confirmation is our acceptance and your proof of contract. Website terms must be actively accepted by ticking the agreement box before purchase. Orders placed outside business hours are processed the next working day. All calls and emails are recorded.

Allocation on a fungibility basis. All tickets and packages are sold on a general location basis. Exact seat, row, table or suite numbers are not disclosed before purchase and are confirmed on receipt. You are promised the area, block, tier or category shown on the listing, and we are confident you will be more than happy with the allocation. Seated tickets are grouped in a minimum of pairs; groups of four or more may be split across rows, so tell us before ordering if you need a consecutive line. General admission is entry to the standing area or zone described, with no specific position reserved. Hospitality and VIP packages are the lounge, box, suite or restaurant category described, with table and seat allocation made by the venue or provider, shared packages seated with other guests, and inclusions and timings set by the provider.

Delivery methods and timings. Tickets may be paper, electronic PDF or mobile transfer via the official app. Promoters often withhold tickets until close to the event; expect delivery around four days beforehand. Contact us immediately if tickets have not arrived in that window. We do not operate at weekends, so for Saturday or Sunday events contact us during the preceding week. Check the email address used at checkout, and check spam and junk folders. We cannot always know in advance whether tickets are physical or electronic, so a postage charge applies to all orders; if you receive e-tickets having paid for delivery, notify us for a refund of that charge. Check tickets carefully on receipt, as errors cannot be rectified later.

Advance guest information. Where an event or hospitality package requires guest details, it is the Client’s responsibility to submit the full name, email address and mobile number for every attendee no later than 72 hours (three days) before the event date. Details received after the deadline may not be processed in time, and no refund is available where admission is affected as a result.

The rules of buying. Clients gain access to otherwise unobtainable tickets in return for discretion. Non-compliance may invalidate your tickets with no refund. Make no reference to Tickets To See at the venue or event. Never contact the venue, box office or promoter directly, as no other party holds a record of your order. Do not forward our emails or let anyone else use your account. Do not allow a third party to collect your tickets, and do not pass tickets on. Follow our collection instructions and those on the PDF ticket exactly. Remain courteous with box office and venue staff. Do not resell, advertise or use tickets for competitions without our prior written agreement. On event day, contact us only, by phone or email; bypassing this protocol may void the contract and cancel your order without refund.

Named tickets and venue entry. Tickets may display the original purchaser’s or supplier’s name. This is irrelevant to admission, as the barcode governs entry. By purchasing hard-to-obtain tickets you accept that your name may not appear on them. You will not be required to present ID at the event, and we do not supply tickets for events requiring ID, unless stated otherwise on the listing. Carry a printout or screen grab of your PDF tickets, and have personal ID available for venue security. Denied-entry claims are considered only on production of written evidence from the venue together with the original unused tickets; to date, no claim has been supported by such evidence.

Cancellations, changes and insurance. Clients may not cancel. All confirmed orders are final and non-refundable, so confirm your availability before ordering. You are solely responsible for your own event insurance covering every reason for non-attendance, including postponement, cancellation, illness, travel disruption or personal circumstance, in place from the moment the order is placed. Paying by credit card creates no right to cancel or to depart from these terms. Dates and times may change, and we may transfer tickets to an alternative date or time where incidents beyond our control require it; no refunds are given for date or time changes, so make flexible travel arrangements. Refunds cannot be guaranteed for events cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, such as inclement weather or force majeure. The Law Reform (Frustrated Contracts) Act 1943, section 1(2), does not apply to our agreements.

Company status and legal terms. Tickets To See is the trading name of Aorta UK Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 05060962, registered office 7 Bell Yard, London, WC2A 2JR. We are an independent secondary ticket agent, not affiliated with any box office, promoter, venue or event organiser. All trademarks, event names and trade names are used descriptively. Your purchase is governed by our Terms & Conditions of Business and our Website Terms and Conditions of Use, accepted at checkout to form a binding contract.
