Six Nations Tickets – How the Championship Works

Each of the six nations plays the other five once, so every team has either two or three home matches in a given year, alternating with the next. Four points are awarded for a win and two for a draw, with bonus points for scoring four tries or losing by seven points or fewer. A team that wins all five of its matches completes the Grand Slam.

The Championship runs in five rounds, with a rest weekend after round three. Stade de France, Paris, and Stadio Olimpico, Rome

France play their home Six Nations matches at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, just north of Paris, and Italy play at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, beside the Tiber. Both combine a big match with a city weekend, which is why they are popular with travelling supporters and corporate groups.
