The show courts at Roland Garros, the venue for the French Open, are the main courts where the most significant matches of the tournament are played. As of my last update, these include:

1. Court Philippe-Chatrier: This is the main and largest stadium at Roland Garros, named after Philippe Chatrier, the former president of the Fédération Française de Tennis and the International Tennis Federation. It has a retractable roof and is used for the most important matches of the tournament, including the finals.

2. Court Suzanne-Lenglen: Named after the famous French tennis player Suzanne Lenglen, this is the second-largest stadium within the complex. It also hosts significant matches throughout the French Open.

3. Court Simonne-Mathieu: This semi-sunken court surrounded by greenhouses is named after another renowned French tennis player, Simonne Mathieu. It was introduced to the complex recently and provides a unique setting for high-profile matches.

These courts are equipped with seating that allows spectators to enjoy the games comfortably, and they are where you would typically see top-ranked players and seeded matches.

The design and construction of these courts also cater to media coverage, ensuring that matches played here are broadcast globally.

Chatrier Court Ticketing Guide

Premier Seating – CAT Or and CAT 1: Enjoy prime views from the lower bowl of Chatrier Court, starting just above the corporate loge seats. The exclusive CAT Or section encompasses the first 6 rows, while CAT 1 extends through the next 10-15 rows, offering exceptional court views.

Lacoste Tribune: This south side area exclusively provides CAT 1 and loge seats, positioned in the first 4 to 12 rows for an up-close experience of the match.

Presidential Tribune: Situated in the Brugnon tribune, this prestigious section is often graced by tennis dignitaries and is available by special request, complete with hospitality services.

CAT 2 and CAT 3 Options: These tickets are situated in the upper levels, with CAT 2 occupying the first 10-20 rows and CAT 3 in the uppermost 6 rows, still ensuring a good perspective of the matches.

Optimal Comfort – Shade-Seating

For those preferring shaded seats, consider the Lacoste (south) or Borotra (west) tribunes, designed for comfort away from direct sunlight.

Suzanne Lenglen Seating

With around 10,000 seats and a newly renovated aesthetic featuring Vosges wood, this court is a superb choice for avid fans, offering access to the outer courts and scheduled for significant matches up to the second week’s Wednesday.

Ground Passes – Access to Annexes Courts: These passes are perfect for fans looking to soak in the atmosphere across nearly 20 courts, available on a first-come, first-served basis, providing a comprehensive Roland Garros experience.
