The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is the world’s most famous flower and gardening show, held annually on the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London, England.

It is organized by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). It is a major event in the British social calendar and attracts visitors from around the world.

The attractions are show gardens, floral marquees, floral displays, horticultural products, and lectures.

The show is typically held from late May to early June and lasts five days. It is open to the public on three days and two days, Tuesday and Wednesday (VIP days), when tickets are not open to the general public. We can assist in obtaining these tickets.

Other days are reserved for RHS members, trade visitors and the media.

If you’re planning to attend the world-renowned Chelsea Flower Show, planning ahead is important to avoid the crowds. Here are some tips to help you make the most of your visit:

Make a Plan:
• Don’t forget to buy your Chelsea Flower Show ticket in advance to ensure you don’t miss out on this unforgettable event.
• Plot your exact route to the Bull Ring Gate, the main entrance. The nearest tube is Sloane Square, and the nearest mainline train station is Victoria (1 mile away). Buses stop nearby, and taxis are available, but the roads can get congested.
• If you’re visually impaired or in a wheelchair, a show ticket will cover the admission of a helper. Babies and children under five are not admitted or animals except guide dogs.
• Wear comfortable shoes with waterproof soles and a wide-brimmed hat to protect you from the weather.
• Arrive as early as possible to get ahead of the crowds. Alternatively, go late in the day when the crowds are starting to disperse.

Top Tips:
• Buy the official catalogue on arrival to help you navigate the showground.
• Don’t leave anything to the last minute, as weaving through the throng takes longer than you’d imagine.
• Your ticket does not allow you to leave the showground and come back, so plan to eat on-site if you’re there over a mealtime.
• There is a bank on the showground that will exchange foreign currencies and replenish funds.
• The ‘services’ section of the programme will show you where lost property is, along with first aid, official meeting places, and a guide to tracking lost children (or adults).
• Exits are marked in the catalogue. Leave before everyone else to avoid long queues for taxis and buses.
• Plants can only be bought during the sell-off at the end of the show’s last day.

With these tips, you can enjoy the Chelsea Flower Show without the stress of crowds and long queues.
