About Keane.
Keane are an English piano rock and soft ballads band from Battle, East Sussex. They are recognized worldwide because, unlike most rock bands, they do not use a guitar in their music. However, they use synthesizers which sound almost exactly like guitars[1]. Tom Chaplin's soft voice, often used in falsetto has been also a very important feature for the band's success. Keane have a particular music genre (piano rock) that many have compared to British band Coldplay, members of whom they met when they were at school.
