Japanese Grand Prix.
The Suzuka circuit, built in 1962 as a test track for Honda motorcycles, has hosted F1 Grands Prix since 1987. Shaped in a figure of eight, the Suzuka circuit offers long fast corners, 310km/h straights and short testing curves. The course is popular with drivers who regard it as technically challenging. Because of the unique design of the circuit the tire and brake wear is equally distributed right and left. Cars usually run a medium to heavy downforce.
